Highlights: Tour of Volterra with Annie-so much history, alabaster workshop, procession for St. Linus’ Day.

 

Day 24, 9/24

Itinerary: Volterra. Bus ride to Sestri Levante

Highlights: All day: Tour of Lucca with Anna, bell tower climb, bike ride around town wall, seeing the Mediterranean Sea for the first time, wonderful pesto demonstration and group dinner at our “palace” hotel.
